Loyal And Faithful

Relationships require a lot of work, whether you are fighting to keep them alive or simply just trying to spice them up a little with new adventures. In a relationship or not, the key to upholding the necessary morals and principles is to become faithful and loyal once you have been given the opportunity to display integrity and reveal your true self and intentions. In other words, loyalty and faithfulness acts as the foundation for your companionship.

However, understanding exactly what loyalty and faithfulness means and incorporating them into your daily thoughts and beliefs is very important as it makes it easier to remember why you are in a relationship and whether or not you are there for all the right reasons. Being loyal is to stand by a person regardless of whether he/she is right. In other words, it is the quality of staying firm in your friendship or support for someone or something. On the other hand, Faithfulness is the act of unfailingly having belief in the redeeming quality or values of a person.

Faithfulness is most often associated with interpersonal relationships, for example, relation of husband and wife, shopkeeper relations with customers, individual relations with family, friends, relatives or relations with God.

Faithfulness may be exhibited by a husband or wife who does not engage in sexual relationships outside of the marriage. It can also mean keeping one’s promises no matter the prevailing circumstances, such as certain communities of monks who take a vow of silence.

Loyalty on the other hand is associated with community, ethnicity, cause, philosophy, ideal, country, duty, group or person. Loyalty expresses itself in both thought and action and strives for the identification of interests of the loyal person with those of the object.
